Thefilmunrollsintoaspectaclecharacteristicofapropersplatter,somethingsimilartothemidnighthitofthepreviousPÖFF,“Revenge”,wheretheviewersareproverbiallydousedinbucketsofbloodandgoretowhichthereseemstobenoend.Andit’snotdisgusting–it’sbloodyfunny!However,jokesaside,“WhyDon’tYouJustDie”isactuallyalotmorethananticsandescapades.ParallelscanforinstancebedrawntoZvyagintsev’s“Loveless”,albeitinadifferentkey.
